Storms Over the Rock

More Organics on Shelter Island

This is the year of great food on Shelter Island. First, Sunflower Market opens with its great chef Rich making all the classics we expect with all organic ingredients. ( They even deliver their organic gourmet dinner hampers) . And now Greenies has opened a true organic supermarket similiar to the one in greenport. SO NO MORE EXCUSES. Suicide Attack at Pakistan Arms Plant Kills 60 People

More than 60 people were killed Thursday when two suicide bombers attacked Pakistan’s largest weapons manufacturing complex, just north of Islamabad in the town of Wah.

City Room: Man Arrested for Robbing Woman, 85

Cornelius Abson, 36, was arrested in the robbery of Lilian France, 85, in an elevator in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The authorities said he also robbed a 67-year-old man in July.
